Faith touches God

Faith establishes a real contact with God. When it is anchored in Him, we receive God's life.

I think of this as God's still small voice

I just read recently in the autobiography of a man that became a monk a statement that said he "could not translate belief into action, and my knowledge of God into a concrete campaign for possessing Him".Obviously ,later he did,at least some. This raises the question with me about how we purify our faith and also make it grow from the seed, and healthy as well?Would this have something to do with the parable about how some invest to produce more  and different % from what they started with? How do we separate our corrupt selves from faith and the mustard seed to make it grow right?
